Preparations

Last week, I purchased my tickets to Nepal.  It's quite a route: Tel Aviv to Amman, Jordan, to Delhi to Kathmandu.  Who would have thought one might fly from Israel to Nepal on Royal Jordanian airlines?

I've also finalized my arrangements with the folks at Congregation Ohr HaTzafon (Light of the North) in Fairbanks.  I'll be there the last week of February.  

So for now, I'm busy making preparations, and hoping for safe travels and a good show of the northern lights.  I'm looking forward to a great adventure.
